Obligatory First Post

Hello friends, fellow bibliophiles, writers, gluttons for punishment, and Sam,

As you may or may not know, I am not one for blogs and am a great despiser of social media platforms of any kind. Alas, the world has changed and so must I.  So without further ado, please welcome me to the world of blogging (preferably with a kindly word and encouraging smile rather than tomatoes and pitchforks).

I am a huge proponent of organization and efficiency and I do see the practicality in sharing my thoughts (for those who want to know them) in this format. That having been said, I make no promises about how often I will post or what I will post, not that anyone cares, myself included. I will probably write about some of the books I love, but more likely about the books I hate. I plan to share bits and pieces of my own stories as well, but don't hold your breath.

There once was a writer called Pyne,

Who drank many glasses of wine.

Her words lost their sense,

As drink was dispensed,

And now she writes scarcely a line.
